The journey to Ven begins at sea
From Landskrona
The municipal company Ventrafiken operates ferry services between Landskrona Skeppsbron – Ven Bäckviken. The crossing takes about 30 minutes and offers a fantastic sea view experience overlooking Ven and the Skåne coast. The ferries depart approximately every two hours from both sides with extra departures during high season.
From Råå, Helsingborg
From Råå you travel to Ven with the Råå boats, which depart several times a day during the summer, starting in May. The tour list can change in case of bad weather and pre-booking is recommended to guarantee a ticket.
From Helsingborg
The Hartford company runs five tours a day with its fast-moving trimaran M/S Vike. The trip takes about 35-40 minutes. Read more on their website Helsingborg-Ven.
Or with your own boat
You can of course also sail to Ven on your own. The island has three marinas with space for visiting boats. During high season, however, it is not always easy to get a place. Read more about the ports on their own websites – Bäckviken harbor, Norreborg harbor and Kyrkbacken harbor.

The Ven Bus
The Ven bus runs a scheduled service on the island and its timetable is adapted to the ferry. Skånetrafikens tickets apply at the bus.

Golf cart
Electric car, eco car, golf cart… whatever it’s called. Actually the golf cart is an optimal transportation vehicle on Ven. Appropriate size, quiet and environmentally friendly. But it is not a toy – drive carefully and always sober. Available for rent at VenEvent and at the Bike Rental
Tractor Trailer
Going by tractor trailer is an old tradition at Ven at this can be booked through Allt om Ven.
Horse and carriage
Ivans Wagontrail offers horse and carriage rides and horse riding with their Ardenner horses.
